HOW TO IMPROVE YOUR VOCABULARY 

Regardless of your job title, writing and public speaking probably make up a large part of the work you do, whether it’s brainstorming ideas with colleagues or sending emails to clients. Being able to express our thoughts both accurately and concisely has a huge effect on our productivity. 

In order to communicate effectively a broad vocabulary that is understood by the general population is needed as it allows us to better demonstrate what we know and understand to others. And if we can demonstrate our understanding and expertise of something through our written and spoken communication the prospective client is more likely to choose us to do the job. 

So, just how do you increase your vocabulary? Here are easy ways to improve your vocabulary and learn new words: 

- Play word game
Word games that challenge you and help you discover new meanings and new words are a great and    fun tool in your quest for expanding your vocabulary. 

- Use the built-in thesaurus
Using a word processor’s built-in thesaurus has a dual benefit. It can quickly make your writing more punchy and concise, but also the very act of using it introduces you to alternative word choices your brain will remember for the future. 

- Learn a word a day 
Using a word-a-day calendar or Website or developing your own list of words to learn. It is a great technique many people use to learn new words. 

- Read anything 
The more you read especially novels and literary works, but also magazines and newspapers the more words you'll be exposed to. McKnight says “Read for pleasure, read what you enjoy. Having more exposure to language and how it’s used is what truly matters.” 

- Use a journal 
It's a good idea to keep a running list of the new words you discover so that you can refer back to the list and slowly build them into your everyday vocabulary. 

- Engage in conversation
Simply talking with other people can help you learn discover new word. 

Final thoughts on how to improve your vocabulary, you must practice putting your new words into your writing and speaking. Use repetition exercises when you learn a new word.

THIS MOMENT IS THE BEST PART!! Why? Because i attended DAY6 GRAVITY TOUR IN JKT :) idk what should i say... im really happy :"))) 진짜 행복해. 아 행복했던 날들이었다~ First, im sorry bcs my english is bad :") i'm still learning. Let's continue this story. I GOT MY TICKET BCS OF MY SIS HAHA. THANK YOU SIS~  and she gave me a print-out of that ticket, and..tada..i got a blue b section! Yow. I can see my bias closely :)) Initially, i want a green or purple section, but it was gone. And luckily my sis got the blue haha. So, i told my sis, "I WANNA B SECTION". Why? Because of Young K haha. Yeah, Young K 's always on the right side with Wonpil, Sungjin and jae are on the left side, and Dowoon is behind the hyungs:) aww.  How was their performance? Hmm. I'm speechless!
